Special Use Doe Tag Policy

The Club President or an authorized designee will distribute a limited number of special-use doe tags. These tags are available only to members who attend the designated work weekend. To obtain a tag, you must contact the President or their designee directly. Tags are issued on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible members—no tags will be preassigned.

Important Rules and Responsibilities:

· If the tag is not used during your hunt, it must be returned immediately afterward.

· If you harvest a buck while in possession of a doe tag, the tag must be returned immediately.

· Tags may not be transferred or redistributed by any member. Unauthorized redistribution will result in termination of the lease.

· A $250 fine will be issued for any tag not returned or lost.

· If you have already harvested a buck, tag eligibility will be determined at the discretion of the President or designee.

Documentation Requirements:

· When checking out a tag, you must fill out all required information, including your name, date, and hunting number.

· All deer harvested under the tag must be logged immediately in both the official logbook and with the FWC.

· It is your responsibility—not the Club President's or designee's—to know and track the tag number you checked out.

Hog Traps

All hog traps MUST have the owner's name and phone number on them.

Bear Harvesting

Bear harvesting will be determined by FWC requirements at a later date. Cypress Creek Hunt Club will amend its bylaws to ensure compliance with FWC.
